After two years of heavy touring, Tunic have honed four songs into pure filth. Made in the image of punk-stalwarts Scratch Acid, Void, and Big Black, Tunic are a progression of the three-piece punk unit. Beginning with the caterwauls of David Schellenberg’s guitar, Rory Ellis’s disturbing low-end throttle, and the relentless rhythm of Samuel Neal, Disappointment builds to a mania that seems impossible to sustain. Yet, somehow, each track manages to compliment the last and push the record forward with relentless momentum.
Recorded over two days by Matt Castore of Minneapolis’ Condominium, Disappointment captures three individuals performing in peak condition. Leading up to the release of Disappointment, Tunic will be touring Canada and the United States of America
